Did you know? You can use Evernote as a digital filing cabinet.
Much in the same way you would store a paper copy of a document in a filing cabinet, Evernote is today’s solution to store digital files and documents.
Unlike an actual filing cabinet, your Evernote digital filing cabinet can be accessed on any device wherever you happen to be.
Evernote is the logical place where you can store any of these:
- Resume and cover letter
- Warranty document
- User manuals
- Business cards
- Travel documents
- Invoices to be paid
- …anything that is important to you
You are only limited by your imagination. Here are 21 Ways Evernote Will Help You.
One of the best and strongest features of Evernote is its ‘search’ function. This means that you will never lose another document ever again.
Simply save your most important documents and information into Evernote, give each of these a name or keyword that relates to what it is and you are good to go. You can search by using any of the following:
- Keyword or tags
- Contact information from a business card
- Any handwriting or text that is typed in an image; and
- Text from attached documents such as word or pdf’s
So when I say that Evernote will never let you lose another document ever again I truly mean it. You can use Evernote as a digital filing cabinet
